Prequalification Of Clearing And Forwarding Service Providers – UNWFP
WORLD FOOD PROGRAMME TENDER 2020
PREQUALIFICATION OF SERVICE PROVIDERS |
Pre-Qualification of Clearing and Forwarding Service Providers for the United Nations World Food Programme Kenya
The United Nations World Food Programme [UNWFP) is the United Nations frontline agency in the fight against hunger.
In Kenya, as part of its Mombasa port operations activities, UNWFP handled 4,742 TEU, 15,000 MT of Bulk cargo and 90,800 MT of Break-Bulk cargo in the year 2019.
WFP Kenya seeks to pre-qualify providers of Clearing and Forwarding Services in Kenya. WFP invites qualified companies, who are duly registered and authorized in accordance with the prevailing laws in Kenya, to respond to an online pre-qualification questionnaire for consideration for short-listing as potential WFP contractors and subsequent invitations to tender.
Reputable companies engaged in the provision of Clearing and Forwarding services are encouraged to fill in the online questionnaire provided at the following address:
All responses must be submitted by 1200 hrs. on 20 November 2020.
Companies currently short listed and or contracted with WFP for the provision of Clearing and Forwarding services are also required to fill the online questionnaire.
Queries strictly related to this invitation should be directed to Kenya.contracting@wfp.org Any email sent in relation to this subject should have the subject header “Query related to Online Clearing and Forwarding Questionnaire Year 2020”.
Please note that this is not an invitation to tender nor does it imply automatic selection to WFP Kenya’s Shortlist of Logistics Service Providers. No rates/prices or documents are required at this stage, and this invitation does not bind the World Food Programme to issue any tenders or contracts to the companies expressing their interest.
By participating in this survey and the entire process, companies confirm that the information they provide is true and correct and that any willful dishonesty on their part may render refusal of their application and subsequent shortlisting.
For purposes of clarity, no documentation is required at this stage.
WFP does not charge any fee for companies to access its surveys, questionnaires as well participate in the entire shortlisting process
