EXPRESSION OF INTEREST –PREQUALIFICATION OF SUPPLIERS FOR THE YEAR 2025.
Murang’a County Creameries Cooperative Union is a farmer’s umbrella cooperative formed by the primary dairy cooperatives in Murang’a County in the year 2015. Its core objectives are Dairy milk aggregation and processing.
Its main mandate is to improve the economic, social and cultural status of the dairy farmers in the County.
The Union is home to your favourite UHT and yoghurt brands – County Fresh milk and County premium yoghurt, respectively.

THE EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI) SHOULD BE SUBMITTED AS FOLLOWS:
One copy of EOI bid booklet, that is chronologically serialized/Paginated on all pages. The booklet should include the following documents:
- Submission form.
- Certificate of Incorporation/Registration.
- Copy a valid trading License.
- AGPO Certificate (Where applicable).
- Valid Copies of KRA PIN, VAT and Tax compliance certificate.
- Proof of experience and valid references.
- Practicing certificates (applicable to professionals and consultants.)
- Current CR12 issued not more than 12 Months.
- Attach a letter indicating your trade terms.
- Duly filled, stamped, and signed Confidential Business Questionnaire Form.
- A letter indicating the credit terms.
Any other relevant document.
IT IS FURTHER NOTEWORTHY TO MENTION THAT:
- All current pre-qualified suppliers MUST REAPPLY afresh,
- Specifically, express your interest in your area (cluster) of expertise.
- Your expression of interest should be delivered in a sealed envelope, indicating the cluster as described in the notice.
- MCCCU will evaluate and compare the bids that have been determined to be substantially responsive.
- Submission to be done latest by 11.00 am Friday, 31st January 2025.
- The EOI bid should be deposited in the Tender Box situated at the main entrance of Union’s processing plant located at Maragua along the Thika – Murang’a highway MCCCU factory building.
- EOI Bids will be opened on the same day at 11.30 am at the MCCCU Boardroom in the presence of Bidders’ representatives who may wish to be present.
- MCCCU reserves the right to independently verify any information provided and prequalify any competent supplier. All pre-qualification bids received after the deadline will not be considered.
