PROCUREMENT FOR SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF ICT EQUIPMENT UNDER SEQIP FOR FY 2022/2023 – KNEC

THE KENYA NATIONAL EXAMINATIONS COUNCIL TENDER OCTOBER 2022 

SECONDARY EDUCATION QUALITY IMPROVEMENT PROJECT (SEQIP)

1. The Government of Kenya has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Secondary Education Quality Improvement project and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for procurement of ICT Equipment and Video-conferencing solutions.
2. The Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the following contracts: –

Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding procedures as specified in the World Bank’s Regulations: Procurement of Goods, Works and Non-Consulting Services under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits & Grants by World Bank Borrowers dated July 2016 (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Guidelines.
4. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from Kenya National Examinations Council, Head of Pro­curement at New Mitihani House South C Ground Floor. Email: procurement@knec.ac.ke and inspect the bidding documents during office hours 0800 to 1700 hours (E.A. T) at the address given below.
5. The bidding documents in English may be downloaded from the KNEC Website www.knec.ac.ke or www.ppip. go.ke . Those wishing to obtain a hard copy, a complete set of bidding documents in English may be obtained upon payment of a non-refundable fee of KES 1,000.00 ( Kenya Shillings one thousand only by Bankers Cheque) which should be presented to the accounts office at New Mitihani House South C Ground Floor for issuing of an official receipt. The receipt should then be taken to the Procurement office on 6th floor for recording and issuance of the bid document.
6. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 20^th  October, 2022 at 10.00 am (E.A.T). Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the bidders’ desig­nated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below on 20th October, 2022 at 10.00 am (E.A.T).
7. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of Kshs. 100,000.00
8. Bids must be submitted in plain sealed envelope clearly marked with the Contract reference number and title in two sets and addressed to;
