CALL FOR OFFERS

PROCUREMENT OF SERVICES: PILOT DEVELOPMENT OF A MARKET INTELLIGENCE PLATFORM.

The Deutsche Gesellschaft fur Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, a federal owned international coopera­tion enterprise that implements German development policy objectives around the world. The Digital Transformation Center (DTC) Kenya is a GIZ programme commissioned by the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and De­velopment (BMZ) and the European Union (EU).

Data Fragmentation and Inaccessibility has caused the public sector entities to operate in silos, each with its own data collection and storage protocols. This often results in fragmented data, making it difficult to consolidate and analyze information for decision-making. For private sector investors and businesses, accessing reliable and up-to- date data on public sector bankable projects is a significant challenge. This limits their ability to make informed in­vestment decisions and capitalize on opportunities. Also, without a reliable source of data, businesses, and investors struggle to accurately assess risks associated with public sector projects. This can result in misguided investments and financial losses..

The contractor contributes to the achievement of the overall project targets. The contractor will support in the de­velopment of a data platform that provides market intelligence in close coordination with GIZ. Interested companies must provide verifiable proof of qualifications and experience in similar/related services. The tenderer is also reques­ted to provide a summary assessment of the team proposed and must specify their positions, tasks and qualifications for each expert. More details are provided in the Terms of Reference.
