Details of Single Phase and Three Phase Smart Meters to procure are as tabulated below:

Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding proce- dures as specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement of Goods, Works and Non-Consulting Services under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits & Grants by World Bank Borrowers “published by the Bank in January 2011 (Revised July 2014) “Procurement Guidelines”), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement In addition, please refer to paragraphs 1.6 and 1.7 setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest.

Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from The Kenya Power and Lighting Company PLC and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below from 0900 to 1600 hours, Monday to Friday excluding public holidays

Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before Tuesday, 21^st June, 2022 at 00 a.m. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the venue indicated in the issued bidding documents on Tuesday 21^st June at 10.00 a.m. (local time).

All bids MUST be accompanied by a Bid Security (in a separate envelope) not less than the indicated amount for item(s): KES 17,000,000 or USD 152,000 or equiv- alent amount in a freely convertible
