INVITATION TO TENDER 
PROPOSED BOUNDARY WALL ON PLOT L.R. NO. 209/5811,DUNGA ROAD, SOUTH “B”, NAIROBI FOR KIRDI 

TENDER REFERENCE NO. KIRDI 02/2022/2023

1. KIRDI invites sealed tenders for the construction of a Boundary Wall on Plot L.R. No. 209/5811, Dunga Road,
South “B”, Nairobi.
2. Tendering will be conducted under open competitive method (National) using a standardized tender document.
Tendering is open to all qualified and interested Tenderers.
In case tender is subject to multiple contracts/lots, insert “Tenderers will be allowed to tender for one or more
lots”.
In case this tender is subject to a Reservation, specify the Group is eligible to tender, Insert e.g.” Tendering to
open to all Small and Medium Enterprises registered appropriately with………………………”).
3. A complete set of tender documents may be obtained by interested candidates electronically from the Website
www.kirdi.go.ke and http://tenders.go.ke free of charge.
4. Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded for free from the websites. Tenderers who download the
tender document must forward their particulars immediately to procurement@kirdi.go.ke to facilitate any
further clarification or addendum. Failure to forward such information will lead to automatic disqualification
5. Tenders shall be quoted in Kenya Shillings and shall include all taxes. Tenders shall remain valid for 119 days from
the date of opening of tenders.
6. All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Security of Kenya Shillings Six Hundred Thousand (Kshs.
600,000.00) Only.
7. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted.
8. Completed tenders must be delivered to the address below on or before 10:00AM on 14th July 2022. Electronic
Tenders will not be permitted.
9. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any dead line date and
time specified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the Tenderers’ designated representatives
who choose to attend at the address below.
10. Late tenders will be rejected.
