The Chief Principal, RIFT VALLEY TECHNICAL TRAINING INSTITUTE invites sealed tenders
for the construction of PROPOSED COMPLETION OF SECOND FLOOR FOR VIRTUAL LEARNING CENTRE AT RIFT
VALLEY TECHNICAL TRAINING INSTITUTE, ELDORET.
1. Tendering will be conducted under open National competitive method using a standardized
tender document.
2. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender
Documents during office `3.6hours (8.00AM- 1.00PM and 2.00PM – 5.00PM local time at the
address given below.
3. A complete set of tender documents may be downloaded by interested tenders Free of Charge
from the Website www.rvtti.ac.ke (https://rvtti.ac.ke/tender-downloads/) or
www.tenders.go.ke as indicated in the advert.
4. Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded for free from the website
www.rvtti.ac.ke (https://rvtti.ac.ke/tender-downloads/) or www.tenders.go.ke.Tenderers
who download the tender document must forward their particulars immediately to

5. Tenders shall be quoted be in Kenya Shillings and shall include all taxes. Tenders shall remain
valid for 126 days from the date of opening of tenders.
6. All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Security of Kshs. 900,000.00 (Nine Hundred
Thousand only) Guarantee from a Bank or an Insurance Company approved by Public
Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA).
7. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted.
8. Completed tenders must be delivered to the address below on or before 6TH JULY 2022,
10:30 AM. Electronic Tenders will not be permitted.
9. Site visits shall be undertaken on 29th June 2022, 10:00 am.
10. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any
dead line date and times specified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the
Tenderers’ designated representatives who choose to attend at the address below.
11. Late tenders will be rejected.
