COUNTY GOVERNMENT OF THARAKA NITHI TENDER APRIL 2025

DEPARTMENT OF ROADS, INFRASTRUCTURE AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT

The County Government of Tharaka Nithi invites sealed bids from eligible contractors for the following tenders. Tendering will be conducted through the procedures specified in the Public Procurement and Disposal Act 2015

COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF ROADS, INFRASTRUCTURE & URBAN DEVELOPMENT

Bidders MUST meet the following requirements;

1. Duly filled signed and stamped form of tender prepared on supplier’s letter head clearly showing the Tenderer’s complete name and business address.
2. Certified copy of the certificate of Incorporation or Business Registration (where applicable) issued by the Registrar of Companies.
3. Current Certified CR12 Certificate (dated within 6 Months before date of opening) from the Registrar of Companies. This should be provided with Identification Documents of Directors and all individuals listed on the CR12. (ID or Passport). For Corporate Directors, CR12 or its equivalent for the corporate directors, Identification Documents for the corporate Director and its directors MUST be provided.
4. Certified copy of the valid certified Current Single Business permit.
5. Certified copy of the Valid Tax Compliance Certificate.
6. Provide a Tender Security of Kshs. 800,000.00 in the required format and in the form of a bank guarantee or insurances approved by Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA). The tender guarantee (security) will remain in force up to and including (182) days after the date of bid submission.
7. Current Certificate of Registration with National Construction Authority in the Category “NCA 5 and above for building, NCA with a valid NCA annual practicing license.
8. Pre-Tender Site Visit Certificate duly endorsed by the Authorized Staff.
9. Chronological Serialization/ pagination of all the pages of the tender document including attachments (this should be sequential in the format of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5…………………..) from the first page to the last page.
10. Submit a written power of attorney authorizing the signatory of the bid to commit the Bidder Witnessed by a Commissioner of Oaths.
11. Duly filled, signed and stamped Tenderer’s Eligibility; Confidential Business Questionnaire.
12. Duly filled, signed and stamped Certificate of Independent Tender Determination.
13. Duly filled, signed and stamped Self- Declaration that the person/tenderer will not engage in any corrupt/fraudulent practice (Form SD2).
14. Duly filled, signed and stamped Declaration and commitment to the Code of Ethics.
15. Duly filled, signed and stamped self- declaration that the person/tenderer is not debarred in matter of the public procurement and asset disposal act 2015 (Form SD1).
