PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION OF 1 NO. PUBLIC SANITATION FACILITY AND SEPTIC TANK AT KABATI MARKET 2023 – KITWASCO

KITUI WATER AND SANITATION COMPANY LIMITED TENDER MAY 2023 

NATIONAL OPEN TENDER NOTICE

Kitui Water and Sanitation Company Limited has received funds from the Water Sector Trust Fund, under the (EU CPIRA) Programme and intends to use part of the fund to undertake the following project. The company hereby invites sealed bids from eligible contractors to undertake the following works:

Requirements of bidding notice are indicated below:

1. Interested eligible candidates may obtain further information and inspect tender documents (and additional copies) at (Kitui Water and Sanitation Company Ltd, P.O. Box 341 – 90200 Kitui, Kyangwithya Misewani Road, Opposite the Governor’s Office, 150 M off Gate B Monday to Friday starting 9.00 am to 4.00 pm daily.
2. Prices quoted shall be inclusive of all taxes, must be in Kenya shillings and shall remain valid for 120 days from the closing date of the tender.
3. A complete set of tender document is to be downloaded both from the Company Website and treasury portal free of charge at: www.kitwasco.co.ke ,www.tenders.go.ke. Upon downloading, bidders are required to notify the Procuring entity through: Kitwascodpgmail.com to facilitate any further addendum or clarification.
4. All bidders are advised to keep visiting the Company website for any addendum or further clarifications.
5. All Tenders must be accompanied by a bid security in the form of a Bank Guarantee and at the amount above indicated which shall be valid for 30 days after the expiry of tender validity as the Tender Security.
6. Completed tender documents are to be enclosed in plain sealed envelopes clearly marked with the Tender name and reference number and deposited in the Tender Box placed at Main Administration Block B, Kyangwithya Misewani Road, Opposite the Governor’s Office, 150 M off Gate B, KITWASCO Headquarter Offices, Block C at Kitui Town and addressed to;

so as to be received on or not later than 2^nd June, 2023 at 11:00 am.

NB: Late tenders shall not be accepted and are to be returned unopened.

7. Pre-tender site visit is Mandatory and shall be held on 24th May, 2023 starting with a pre-bid meeting to be held at the Chief’s Office – KabatiTown at 10.30 am, then proceed to Kabati Market for site visit from I 1.00 am to 3.00 pm.
8. After the deadline for the closing of tenders, thereafter tenders shall be opened immediately at the KITWASCO Headquarter Office Boardroom in the presence of the candidates or their representatives who choose to attend at the address provided below:
