INVITATION TO TENDER
PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION OF 2NO. DORMITORIES AND 1NO. STANDARD CLASSROOM BLOCK AT CHEMELIL ACADEMY

1. CHEMELIL SUGAR COMPANY LIMITED invites sealed tenders for the PROPOSED
CONSTRUCTION OF 2NO. DORMITORIES AND 1NO. STANDARD CLASSROOM BLOCK AT
CHEMELIL ACADEMY.
2. Tendering will be conducted under open competitive method (National) using a standardized tender
document. Tendering is open to all qualified and interested Tenderers.
3. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender Documents
during office hours at the Supply Chain Manager’s Office at Chemelil Sugar Company Limited during
normal working hours. It may also be downloaded from the Public Procurement Information Portal at
www.tenders.go.ke or the Government website at www.mygov.go.ke or from our website
www.chemsugar.co.ke./corporate documents free of charge or obtain a set of each hard copy upon payment
of a non-refundable fee of Kshs. 1,000.00 payable to Chemelil Sugar Company Ltd either in cash or bankers
cheque.
4. Tenderers who download the tender document must forward their particulars immediately to the
Managing Director Chemelil Sugar Company Ltd, P.O. Box 1649-40100 Kisumu OR P.O. Box 177-
40107 Muhoroni, chemelil.mdsoffice@gmail.com Phone number 020-2031883/0722209798 to facilitate
any further clarification or addendum.
5. Tenders shall be quoted be in Kenya Shillings and shall include all taxes. Tenders shall remain valid for (120)
days from the date of opening of tenders.
6. All Tenders must be accompanied by a “tender Security” of Kshs. 200,000.00 (Two Hundred Thousand
Shillings Only) in the format provided.
7. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted.
8. Completed tenders must be delivered to the address below on or before 10.00 a.m. on Friday 16th
September, 2022. Electronic Tenders will not be permitted.
9. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any dead line date and
times pecified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the Tenderers’ designated
representatives who choose to attend at the address below.
10. Late tenders will be rejected.
