MAKURI GIRLS’ HIGH SCHOOL TENDER SEPTEMBER 2023 

The Principal Makuri Girls’ High School through the Ministry of Education invites sealed bids from eligible candidates for the:

PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION OF A 47 DOOR WC’S ABLUTION BLOCK I AT MAKURI GIRLS’ HIGH SCHOOL – THARAKA NITHI COUNTY TENDER NO: M.G.S.S/ABL/RMI/2022 2023

Interested Contractors may obtain tender documents from Principal Makuri Girls’ High School, upon payment of a non- refundable fee of Kshs 2,000 to be paid in cash at the cash office before on normal working

days. Interested bidders should note that only those meeting the criteria indicated below as a minimum, supported by relevant documents at submission will be considered for further evaluation.

The mandatory conditions to be complied with are:-

1. a)Copy of Registration/lncorporation;
2. b)Copy of Valid Tax Compliance Certificate;
3. c)Valid NCA Registration Certificate and NCA practicing license;
4. d)Form of tender (properly filled, signed and stamped);
5. e)Bid security from a reputable bank or PPRA approved insurance firm, of Kshs 2% of the tender sum valid for One hundred and twenty (120) days from the date of tender opening;
6. f)Recent Copy of CRI2 for companies / Business Registration Certificate for Business Name (Records relating to the company / Business name held by the company registry) as from 1^st  March, 2023 to the date of tender opening;
7. g)Submission of Original and Copy of the tender document;
8. h)Valid Single Trading License;
9. i)Dully filled, stamped and signed Confidential Business Questionnaire;
10. j)Document properly serialized;
11. k)There will be a mandatory site visit on 20/9/2023 9am-12 noon;

OR, placed in the tender box situated at Makuri Girls’ High School, so as to be received not later than 10.00am of 22/09/2023 Submitted bids shall be opened publicly at the School Board room, immediately thereafter in the presence of the tenderers or their representative(s) who may choose to attend. Late bids will be returned/remain unopened.

Prices quoted must remain valid for a minimum period of One hundred and twenty (120) days from the opening date of the tender.
