INVITATION TO TENDER
PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION OF A MODERN FUNERAL HOME AT THE HOMA BAY COUNTY TEACHING AND REFERAL HOSPITAL

The County Government of Homa Bay invites bids for the proposed construction of a modern funeral home at
the Homa Bay County Teaching and Referal Hospital. Tendering will be conducted under open competitive
method (National) using a standardized tender document.
1. The tender is open to all qualified and interested Tenderers. Any Contractors with pending works with the
County Government of Homabay are NOT eligible to participate in this tender.
2. Eligible and interested bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the
office of County Director Procurement and Supplies Management, County Government of Homabay
between 8.00am and 5.00pm Kenyan Time, during Official working days.
3. The document may also be downloaded free of charge from the Public Procurement Information Portal
www.tenders.go.ke and/or Integrated Financial Management Information System (IFMIS) Supplier
Portal www.supplier.treasury.go.keusing the unique IFMIS negotiation number indicated above or
County Website (www.homabay.go.ke).
4. Bidders who download the tender document must register with County Government; the company name,
postal, physical, email and telephone address for the purposes of receiving any further tender clarifications
and/or addendums if need be through Email: procurement@homabay.go.ke.
5. Prices quoted should be inclusive of all taxes and service delivery costs, must be expressed in Kenya shillings
and will remain valid for 120 days from date of tender opening.
6. All tenderers to provide Kshs 1,000,000.00 bid security from a financial institution regulated by Central
Bank of Kenya (CBK). Original bid bond should be deposited and registered with the office of County
Director, Procurement and Supplies Management while its copy uploaded with the tender documents.
7. TheTenderershall chronologically serialize all pages and attachments numerically in the order of 1, 2, 3…… of the tender
documentssubmitted.
8. Completed tender documents must be submitted through the IFMIS supplier portal
www.supplier.treasury.go.ke not later than May 31, 2023 local time. Manual submissions will not be
allowed.
9. Tenders will be opened immediately there after in the IFMIS Supplier Portal.
