NATIONAL GOVERNMENT CONSTITUENCIES DEVELOPMENT FUND BOARD KWANZA CONSTITUENCY TENDER AUGUST 2021 

1. AUGUSTINE MAZIWA SECONDARY SCHOOL

St. Augustine Maziwa Secondary School is a Public Mixed day School, in Bidii Ward of Kwanza Constituency.

The school invites bids from interested and eligible bidders/firms for construction of a storey tuition block of eight classrooms.

Tenderers may inspect and obtain a complete set of tender documents upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Kenya Shillings Five Thousand (5,000/-) only, either in bankers cheque or cash payable to schools offices during normal working hours. The details of the tenders are as follows:

Interested tenderers who meet the following mandatory requirements supported by certified copies of requisite documents at submission will be considered for further evaluation:

1. Provide certificate of incorporation.
2. Provide valid National Construction Authority (NCA) Certificate under categories NCA 6 and above.
3. Provide PIN/VAT registration certificate.
4. Provide valid tax compliance certificate

Must provide a bid bond of 2% of the bid price which must remain valid for 120 days (After the expiry of tender validity period) in form of a bank

1. Guarantee from a reputable bank or approved insurance by Public Procurement Regulatory Authority.
2. Duly filled form offender.
3. Duly filled confidential business questionnaire.
4. Valid CR12 from the Registrar of Companies.

In addition, interested bidders must show proof of the following;

1. a)Adequate equipment holding for the specified type of work.
2. b)Key technical staff to be engaged.
3. c)Audited accounts for the last three years.
4. d)Bank account in the name of the company (Attach six months bank statement).
5. e)Works of similar magnitude and complexity undertaken in the last three years.
6. f)Litigation history of the company (Both court and arbitration cases).
7. g)Evidence of sound financial standing and access to bank credit line.
8. h)Copy of receipt

Completed set offender documents, in plain sealed envelopes should be deposited in the Tender Box at the Schools on or before 06/09/2021 at 5.00pm. Tenders will be opened immediately thereafter in the presence of tenderers and/ or their representatives who choose to attend. Addressed to:
