1. The Kenya marine and fisheries research institute invites sealed tenders for the construction of Septic
Tank for Kenya marine & fisheries research institute- Kisumu station
2. Tendering will be conducted under open competitive method National using a standardized tender
document.Tendering is open to all qualified and interested Tenderers.
3. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender Documents
during office hours[ 0900 to1500 hours] at the address given below.
A complete set of tender documents may be purchased or obtained by interested tenders upon payment of a nonrefundable fees of (1,000.00) in cash or Banker’s Cheque and payable to the address given below. Tender
documents may be obtained electronically from the Website(s)
4. Tender documents obtainedelectronicallywill be free of charge.
Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded for free from the website (www.kmfri.co.ke). Tenderers who

5. Tendersshall be quoted be in Kenya Shillings and shall include all taxes.Tendersshall remain valid for 150
days fromthe date of opening oftenders.
6. All Tenders must be accompanied by a “tender Security of Kshs 90,000.00
7. TheTenderershall chronologically serialize all pages ofthe tender documentssubmitted.
8. Completed tenders must be delivered to the address below on or before 7
th February, 2025. Electronic Tenders will orwill not be permitted.
9. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any dead line date
and time specified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the Tenderers’ designated
representatives who choose to attend at the address below.
10. Late tenderswill be rejected.
