TENDER INVITATION NOTICE |
St. Monica’s Girls High School – Kitale is an extra county secondary school in Bidii Ward of Kwanza Constituency in Trans-Nzoia County. The school invites bids from interested and eligible bidders/firms for the construction of a storeyed tuition block of 8 [eight] classrooms. Tenderers may inspect and obtain a complete set of tender documents upon payment of a non- refundable fee of Kshs.5,000/- [Five Thousand only], either in bankers cheque or cash payable to the school office during normal working hours.

Interested bidders who meet the following mandatory requirements supported by certified copies of requisite documents at submission will be considered for further evaluation:-
- Provide a certificate of incorporation
- Provide a valid National Construction Authority [NCA] certificate under categories NCA6 and above.
- Provide a Pin/VAT Registration Certificate
- Provide a valid Tax Compliance Certificate
- Must provide a bid bond of 2% of the bid price which must remain valid for 120 days [after the expiry of tender validity period] in the form of a bank guarantee from a reputable bank or approved insurance by the Public Procurement Regulatory Authority.
- Duly filled form of tender
- Valid CR12 from the Registrar of Companies.
In addition, interested bidders must show proof of the following:-
- a)Adequate equipment holding for the specified type of work
- b)Key technical staff to be engaged
- c)Audited accounts for the last 3 years.
- d)Bank account in the name of the company [Attach six month’s statement]
- e)Works of similar magnitude and complexity undertaken in the last 3 years
- f)Litigation history of the company [both court and arbitration cases]
- g)Evidence of sound financial standing and access to bank credit line
- h)Copy of receipt
Completed set of tender documents, in plain sealed envelopes should be deposited in the Tender Box at the school on or before 01/11/2021 by 10:30am. Tenders will be opened immediately thereafter in the presence of tenderers and/or their representatives who choose to attend. Address tenders to:-
