The National Treasury has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the National Agricultural & Rural Inclusive Growth Project (NARIGP) and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Proposed Construction of Ntharene Banana Market. The County Government of Meru (CGM), now invites sealed Bids’from eligible Bidders for Construction of Ntharene Banana Market and improvement of market access roads.
Bidding will be conducted through national competitive procurement using Request for Bids [RFB] as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers- Procurement in Investment Projects Financing”.
Interested National contractors shall download the tender document from the CGM website freely: www.meru.go.ke or Government Portal: https://tenders.go.ke and MUST forward their particulars immediately for recording and further clarification and addenda to procurement.finance@meru.go.ke & NARIGP, County Project Coordinator through email address narigpmeru@gmail.com.
Bids must be delivered & deposited in the tender box located at the reception of the County Government of Meru headquarter and addressed to: THE COUNTY SECRETARY, COUNTY GOVERNMENT OF MERU, P.O. BOX 120-60200 MERU on or before 6^th May, 2020 at 10.00 A.M. it will be necessary to attend Site, Visits in Ntharene Open Air Market. As we collaborate to enhance preventative measures against COVID-19, we have provided instructions on the site visit in the Bid Data Sheet of ITB 7.4
Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened immediately at 10.00 A.M. 6^th May, 2020, in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend.
