INVITATION TO TENDER
PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION OF PARKING/PAVEMENT FOR FIRE STATION (INSTALLATION OF CABBRO) 

1. The COUNTY GOVERNMENT OF WEST POKOT invitessealed tenders for the proposed construction of
parking/pavement for fire station (installation of cabbro)
2. Tendering will be conducted under open competitive method (Open National Tender) using a standardized
tender document.Tenderingis open to all qualified and interested tenderers.
3. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender Documents during
office hours[9.00am-4.00pm] at the address given below.
4. The tender documents with detailed specifications shall be downloaded free of charge from County
Government Website www.westpokot.go.ke and Public Procurement Information portal
www.tenders.go.ke.
5. Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded for free from IFMIS tender portal:
www.supplier.treasury.go.ke using the unique IFMIS negotiation number 1400099 Tenderers who
download the tender document MUST forward their particulars immediately to
procurement@westpokot.go.ke to facilitate any further clarification or addendum.
6. Tendersshall be quoted be in Kenya Shillings and shall include all taxes. Tendersshall remain valid for 182 days
fromthe date of opening oftenders.
7. All Tenders must be accompanied by a Bid Security of KShs. 184,000 from a reputable financial institution or in form of a banker’s cheque.
8. TheTenderershall chronologically serialize all pages ofthe tender documentssubmitted. Format 1, 2, 3, 4,
5………n (Where n is the last page Number).
9. Completed tenders must be delivered to the address below on or before 19th January 2024 at 12.00 noon
ElectronicTenders, through the IFMIS SYSTEM IS A MUST and it should be EXACT REPLICA OF THE
HARD COPY SUBMITTED.
10. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any dead line date and
time specified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the Tenderers’ designated representatives
who choose to attend atthe address below.
11. Late tenderswill be rejected.
