INVITATION TO TENDER
PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION OF THE HOSPITALITY COMPLEX – PHASE II [A]

TENDER REF NO: NNP/NT/03/2024 
1. The Nyeri National Polytechnic invites sealed tenders for the proposed construction of the hospitality
complex – Phase II [A]
2. Tendering will be conducted under open tender method using a standardized tender document.
Tendering is open to all qualified and interested Tenderers.
3. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the tender documents in
www.tenders.go.ke
4. A complete set of tender documents may be obtained by interested tenders from the www.tenders.go.ke
and www.thenyeripoly.ac.ke
5. Tender documents obtained electronically will be free of charge.
6. Tenderers who download the tender document must forward their particulars immediately to
procurement@thenyeripoly.ac.ke to facilitate any further clarification or addendum.
7. All Tenders must be accompanied by a bid bond or “tender Security” or “Tender-Securing
Declaration,” as appropriate] of Ksh. 1,500,000.00 valid for 150 days after the date of opening.
8. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted. [1,2,3,..]
9. Completed tenders must be delivered to the address below on or before 3rd May, 2024 at 10:00am.
Electronic Tenders will not be permitted.
10. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any deadline
date and time specified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the Tenderers’
designated representatives who choose to attend at the address below.
9. Late tenders will be rejected.
