Proposed construction of two dormitories – Suba South NG-CDF

JOHN MBADI LIGONGO SECONDARY SCHOOL TENDER JUNE 2021 

John Mbadi Ligongo Secondary School is a public Secondary School in Gwassi South ward of Suba South Constituency, Homabay County in the Republic of Kenya.

The school invites bids from interested prequalified contractors for proposed construction of two dormitories of 120 students’ capacity each to completion .The proposed project has been funded by Suba South National Government Constituency Development Fund (NG-CDF)

Interested prequalified tenderers may inspect and obtain a complete set of tender documents from the school during normal working hours upon payment of a non-refundable tender fee of Kenya Shillings One Thousand Only (Kshs. 1,000/=) in cash. The details of the tender are as follows;

Interested prequalified bidders who meet the following requirements supported by copies of requisite documents at submission-will be considered for Evaluation:

1. Provide Certificate of incorporation
2. Provide valid National Construction Authority (NCA) registration and practicing certificates under category NCA7
3. Provide KRA Pin/VAT registration certificate
4. Provide Valid Tax Compliance Certificate
5. Duly filled form of tender
6. Duly filled confidential business questionnaire
7. Valid CR12 from the Registrar of companies
8. Must provide a bid bond of 2% of the bid price which must remain valid for 120 days (After the expiry of tender validity period) in form of bank guarantee from a reputable bank or approved insurance Company by Public Procurement Regulatory Authority

In addition, interested bidders must attach proof of the following;

1. a)Adequate equipment holding
2. b)Key technical staff to be engaged
3. c)Bank account in the name of the company (attach the recent 6 months bank statement)
4. d)Works of similar magnitude and complexity undertaken
5. e)Evidence of sound financial standing and access to bank credit
6. f)Copy of the receipt for purchase of tender documents

Should be deposited in the Tender Box at the entrance of Suba South NG-CDF offices, Kaloko – Gingo on or before 29/06/2021 at 10:00 A.M. Tenders will be opened immediately thereafter in the presence of tenderers or their representatives who choose to attend.
