PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION OF USHANGA CURIO MALL AT SEKENANI GATE-NAROK COUNTY 2024

MINISTRY OF GENDER, CULTURE, THE ARTS AND HERITAGE TENDER MAY 2024  

INVITATION TO TENDER

Ushanga Kenya Initiative (UKI) is a Government Intitiative implemented by the State Department for Culture, The
Arts and Heritage with the aim of economically empower the women and girls through bead work production,
value addition, market linkages and connectivity to value chain.
The State Department now invites sealed tenders from eligible bidders for the following;

1. Tendering will be conducted under Open National Tender method using a standard tender document.
Tendering is open to all qualified and interested Tenderers.
2. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender Documents
during office hours 8:00am to 5:00pm at the address given below.
3. A complete Set of Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded from the PPIP portal www.tenders.
go.ke.Tender Documents submitted in two copies in plain sealed envelope clearly marked tender
number and Name and also marked ORIGINAL and COPY. Shall be deposited in the Tender Box placed
at the State Department for Culture, The Arts and Heritage KNLS building upper hill 6th floor placed at
the reception area.
4. Tenders shall be quoted in Kenya Shillings and shall include all taxes. Tenders shall remain valid for
156 days from the date of opening of tenders.
5. All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Security of Kshs. 1,800,000.00 (Kenya Shillings One
Million, Eight Hundred Thousand Only) in form of bank guarantee from bank or insurances approved
by Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA), which will be valid for 30 days after the expiry of
tender validity as the Tender Security.
6. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted.
7. Completed tenders must be delivered to the address below on or before Wednesday, 12th June 2024
at 11.00 a.m. Electronic Tenders will not be permitted.
8. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any dead line
date and time specified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the Tenderers’ designated
representatives who choose to attend at the address below.
9. Late tenders will be rejected.
