INVITATION TO TENDER
PROPOSED ENVIRONMENTAL RESTORATION OF DEGRADED LAND AT BORANSIS, DERTU WARD, GARISSA COUNTY
The COUNTY GOVERNMENT OF GARISSA through the Department of Water, Environment, Climate
Change and Natural Resources invites sealed tenders for COUNTY CLIMATE CHANGE FUND PROJECT
ON THE PROPOSED ENVIRONMENTAL RESTORATION OF DEGRADED LAND AT BORANSIS, DERTU WARD, GARISSA COUNTY
Tendering will be conducted using a standardized tender document using an open national competitive method. It is
open to all qualified and interested tenderers.
Qualified and interested bidders may obtain further information and inspect the Tender Documents during office
hours (8 AM—1 PM and 2 PM—5.00 PM local time) at the address given below.
A complete set of tender documents may be downloaded by interested bidders FREE OF CHARGE from the
Website(s) www.garissa county.go.ke or the Public Procurement Information Portal (tenders.go.ke).
Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded for free from the website www.garissa county.go.ke.
Tenderers who download the tender document must forward their particulars immediately to the director
procurement office, Garissa County, P.O. Box 563 – 70100, Garissa, Kenya to facilitate any further clarification or
addendum.
Tenders shall be quoted in Kenya Shillings and shall include all taxes. Tenders shall remain valid for 120 days from
the date of opening of tenders.
All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Security of KES. 355,600.00 (Three hundred fifty-five thousand
and six hundred shillings only) Inform of; Cash, Guarantee from a Bank, Guarantee by an Insurance company
registered and licensed by the insurance regulatory authority, Guarantee issued and licensed by a financial
institution accredited by CBK.
The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted.
Completed tenders must be delivered to the address below on or before Friday 13th January 2025 at 10.00 am.
Electronic Tenders will not be permitted.
Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any deadline date and times
specified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the Tenderers’ designated representatives who
choose to attend.
Late tenders will be rejected.
