PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION WORKS, INSTALLATIONS AND DELIVERY OF EQUIPMENT FOR VARIOUS FISH LANDING SITES AND FISH MARKETS IN KENYA.
The Government of Kenya through the State Department of Fisheries, Aquaculture and the Blue Economy invites eligible and interested bidders to tender for the Pro- posed Construction Works, Installation and delivery of equipment for various Fishing Landing Sites and Fish Markets, in Kenya as follows.

Eligible interested candidates may obtain a complete set of tender documents and detailed specifications from the Ministry’s website www.kilimo.go.ke free of any charges or from the Supply Chain Management Office, State Department for Fisheries, Aquaculture and the Blue Economy Located at Maji House, 3rd Floor, Room 343, during normal working hours upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Kshs. 1,000 per set of tender document in cash or bankers cheque payable to the Principal Secretary, State Department for Fisheries, Aquaculture and the Blue Economy at the Cash Office situated at the Ground Floor, Maji House.
Tenders in plain sealed envelopes and clearly marked with the name of the project (and Lot number) must be addressed to the Principal secretary, State Department of Fisheries, Aquaculture and the Blue Economy and deposited into the tender box at the 3rd Floor, Maji House so as to reach on or before Wednesday 4th March, 2020 at 10.00am (East African Time). Bids must be submitted in TWO copies i.e. Original and Copy.
Tender opening will take place at the conference Room situated at the 6th Floor, Maji House immediately after the above stated date and time in the presence of tenderers or representatives who choose to attend.
Prices quoted must be inclusive of VAT and all Government taxes and must remain valid for a minimum period of one hundred and twenty days from the closing date.
Tenderers must submit a Bid Bond of 2% of the Tender sum (or as indicated in the document, whichever is less) in the form of a bank guarantee from a reputable bank or PPRA approved Insurance Company, valid for a minimum of One Hundred and Fifty Days from the date of tender opening.
