PROPOSED IMPROVEMENT OF TUNGUTU-ITHOOKWE SHOWGROUND EXIT ROAD TO BITUMIN STANDARD – CGOKTI

COUNTY GOVERNMENT OF KITUI TENDER DECEMBER 2023 

The County Government of Kitui through Ministry of Roads, Public Works and Transport
intends to procure contractors for the Roads works listed below. Details on the scope of
the works shall be indicated in the tender documents.

Interested bidders should note that only those meeting the criteria indicated below as minimum,
supported by relevant documents at submission will be considered for further evaluation.
MANDATORY REQUIREMNTS
I. Must attach a Copy of certificate of Registration/Incorporation
II. Must attach CR12 for Limited Companies & Partnership deed for Partnerships and
Copies of ID Cards of the Directors not More Than 12 Months from the Date of this
Advert
III. Must attach a Copy of Current Valid Tax Compliance Certificate issued by the Kenya
Revenue Authority
IV. Valid NCA Certificate category 6 and above (Road Works)
V. Current NCA practicing license
VI. Properly fill, sign and stamp the Form of tender which is inclusive of the following; –

Confidential Business Questionnaire
• Certificate of Independent tender Determination
• Self-Declaration- Not to engage in conflict
• Self-Declaration- Not debarred in matter of PPADA 2015
• Conflict of Interest
• Code of ethics
VII. Must paginate/serialize all pages of the tender document
VIII. Bidders must not share a link in the IFMIS system during uploading of the documents
IX. Attach Bid security of Ksh. 350, 000.00 (Three Hundred and Fifty Thousand Shillings
only) and Performance Bond Kshs. 1, 500,000.00 (One Million Five Hundred Thousand
Only))
NOTES
Further, bids from the following tenders shall be treated as non-responsive and therefore subject to
Automatic disqualification.
i. Bid documents from tender whose Director/Owner/shareholder are either public servants,
state Officer of the County government of Kitui or their Spouses and their children
ii. Bid documents from a tender who has been served with a default on ongoing projects
iii. Having been debarred by Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA)
The tender documents containing detailed information on the tenders can freely be downloaded
from the County Government of Kitui website (www.kitui.go.ke) of PPIP portal
(www.tenders.go.ke) with effect from Wednesday 27th December 2023.
COMPLETE tender document MUST be submitted through the IFMIS SUPPLIER PORTAL:
www.supplier.treasury.go.ke to be received before or on 5TH January 2024 at 12:00 NOON in the
IFMIS SYSTEM. MANUAL SUBMISSION ARE NOT ALLOWED.
Original bid security must be delivered at the office of director of Supply Chain Management
Services, at the New Governors Admin Block on or before closing date time 5
th January 2024 at
12:00 Noon
