PROPOSED INSTALLATION OF ELECTRIC POWERED HIGH MAST FLOODLIGHTING IN MERU

STATE DEPARTMENT FOR HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT TENDER JANUARY 2022 

The Government of Kenya through The Ministry of Transport, Infrastructure, Housing, Urban Development and Public Works, State Department for Housing and Urban Development intends to procure a suitably qualified contractor for The Proposed Installation of Electric Powered High Masts Floodlighting in Various Counties as listed below:

Interested bidders may access the tender documents from the State Department’s website www.housingandurban.go.ke  or the Public Procurement Information Portal (PPIP) https://tenders.go.ke  free of charge. No hard copies of the document shall be availed due to the current COVID-19 Pandemic. Bidders who download the tender documents from the website are required to provide their details by registering at the Supply Chain Management Office, located on 6th Floor Ardhi house, 1st Ngong Avenue, during normal working hours.AII enquiries and clarifications should be sent via email to: procurementhousingandurban@gmail.com.

1. Prices quoted shall be inclusive of duty and other taxes and shall remain valid for 150 calendar days from the closing date of the tenders. 
2. Completed tender documents shall be deposited in the Tender Box located at Ardhi House, 6^th  Floor. Bulky documents shall be delivered and registered at the office of the Head Supply Chain Management Services, located on 6th Floor, Ardhi House.
3. The tender opening will be at State Department for Housing and Urban Development Boardroom, located on 6^th  Floor – Ardhi House on 13^th January, 2022 at 1100 hrs in the presence of bidders representatives who choose to attend.
4. The Government is not bound to accept any tender and shall not be held liable for any cost incurred in the tender preparation.
5. The bids shall be submitted by the main contractors not as subcontractors. No separate bid for specialized works (Electrical and mechanical works) shall be accepted. Bids for such works shall be submitted as part of the main works bid.
