CONTRACT NAME AND DESCRIPTION: PROPOSED ONE DOOR PIT LATRINES KITUNDU TREE
NURSERY.
1. The Government of Makueni County, Department of Agriculture, Irrigation, Livestock & Fisheries
Development, P.O Box 78-90300 Makueni invites sealed tenders for the PROPOSED ONE DOOR PIT
LATRINES KITUNDU TREE NURSERY.
2. Tendering will be conducted under open competitive method National using a standardized tender document.
Tendering is open to all qualified and interested Tenderers.
3. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender Documents during
office hours, i.e, 0900 to 1700 hours at the address given below.
4. A complete set of tender documents may be purchased or obtained by interested tenders upon payment of a
non- refundable fees of (1,500.00 Kenya shillings) in cash or Banker’s Cheque and payable to the address given
below. Tender documents may be obtained electronically from the Website(s) www.makueni.go.ke,
www.tenders.go.ke or the IFMIS supplier portal: http://supplier.treasury.go.ke. Tender documents obtained
electronically will be free of charge.
5. Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded for free from the website www.makueni.go.ke,
www.tenders.go.ke or the IFMIS supplier portal: http://supplier.treasury.go.ke. Tender documents obtained
electronically will be free of charge.
6. Tenders shall be quoted be in Kenya Shillings and shall include all taxes. Tenders shall remain valid for (140)
days from the date of opening of tenders.
7. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted.
8. Completed tender documents MUST be submitted through IFMIS SUPPLIER PORTA:
http://supplier.treasury.go.ke so as to be received on or before 12th May, 2022 at 10:00 am EAT and time
indicated in the IFMIS portal. The system will automatically lock out at the time and date of tender closing as
indicated in the IFMIS portal. No manual submission of tenders.
9. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any dead line date and
times pecified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the Tenderers’ designated representatives
who choose to attend at the address below.
10. Late tenders will be rejected.
11. NOTE: Bidders who experience challenges in accessing or uploading tender documents in the IFMIS portal
should contact the IFMIS helpdesk 0800721477 at The National Treasury or contact county Supply Chain
Management services office located at the County Treasurer.
