INVITATION TO TENDER
PROPOSED RENOVATION WORKS OF GITUMBI, IHIGAINI & KIAMWONE E.C.D.E CLASSROOMS – NGINDA WARD 

NEGOTIATION No. 1161057-2022/2023 
The Murang‟a County Government invites sealed tenders for PROPOSED RENOVATION WORKS OF GITUMBI,
IHIGAINI & KIAMWONE E.C.D.E CLASSROOMS – NGINDA WARD.
Tendering will be conducted under national competitive bidding using a standardized tender document. Tendering is
open to all qualified and interested Tenderers.
1. Tenderers may obtain further information at the Murang‟a County Government during official working
hours (0800hrs-1300hrs & 1400hrs-1700hrs)
2. Tenderers may view and download a complete set of tender documents electronically from
www.tenders.go.ke or from the County website www.muranga.go.ke free of charge
3. Tenderers who download the tender document must forward their particulars immediately to
(www.muranga.go.ke ) to facilitate any further clarification or addendum.
4. Tenders shall be quoted be in Kenya Shillings and shall include all taxes. Tenders shall remain valid for
150days from the date of opening of tenders.
5. All Tenders must be accompanied by a tender security of 2% of the quoted amount in form of Banker‟s
cheque, bank or insurance guarantee valid for 180 days after date of tender opening.
6. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted.
7. Completed tender documents are to be enclosed in plain sealed envelopes (original and copy) marked
with tender name and reference number and deposited in the tender box.
8. Electronic tenders will be not be permitted.
9. Tenders will be publicly opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above in the
presence of the Tenderers’ designated representatives who choose to attend.
10. Late tenders will be rejected.
