1. The Director, Centre For Mathematics, Science & Technology Education In Africa (CEMASTEA)
invites sealed tenders for the construction of PROPOSED RENOVATIONS AND ALTERATIONS
TO EXISTING HOSTELS FOR CENTRE FOR MATHEMATICS, SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY
EDUCATION IN AFRICA (CEMASTEA) NAIROBI COUNTY.
2. Tendering will be conducted under open National competitive method using a standardized
tender document.
3. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender
Documents during office `3.6hours (8.00AM- 1.00PM and 2.00PM – 5.00PM local time at the
address given below.
4. A complete set of tender documents may be downloaded by interested tenders Free of Charge
from the Website www.cemastea.ac.ke or as indicated in the advert.
5. Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded for free from the website
www.cemastea.ac.keTenderers who download the tender document must forward their
particulars immediately to director@cemastea.ac.ke, Telephone 020-2044406 ,+254 706

clarification or addendum.
6. Tenders shall be quoted be in Kenya Shillings and shall include all taxes. Tenders shall remain
valid for 126 days from the date of opening of tenders.
7. All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Security of Kshs. 700,000.00 (Seven Hundred
Thousand only) Guarantee from a Bank or an Insurance Company approved by Public
Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA).
8. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted.
9. Completed tenders must be delivered to the address below on or before ……28TH June
2022………………. Electronic Tenders will not be permitted.
10. Site visits shall be undertake 21st June 2022 at

11. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any
