1. The County Government of Trans Nzoia invites sealed tenders for the Proposed Routine
Maintenance of RAGIRA – NAMAWANGA ROAD. The works entails, Grading, Gravelling,
Compaction, drainage works, bush clearing and sectional expansion of the road.
2. Tendering will be conducted under open competitive method (National) using a standardized
tender document. Tendering is open to all qualified and interested Tenderers.
3. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender
Documents during office hours [insert office hours if applicable i.e. 0900 to 1500 hours] at the
address given below.
4. A complete set of tender documents may be purchased or obtained by interested tenderers
electronically from the Websites indicated below free of charge.
5. Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded for free from www.transnzoia.go.ke and
www.tenders.go.ke. Tenderers who download the tender document must forward their
particulars immediately to procurement@transnzoia.go.ke to facilitate any further clarification
or addendum.
6. All Tenders must be accompanied by a tender Security of Kshs.250,000/= (Kenya Shillings Two
Hundred and Fifty Thousand).
7. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted.
8. Completed tenders must be submitted electronically through the IFMIS portal,
www.supplier.treasury.go.ke on or be the date and time as indicated in the system. Bidders shall
also submit in hard copy an original of their tender documents which should be deposited in the
tender located at the address below at before 11.00am on the closure date.
9. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any
deadline date and time specified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the
Tenderers’ designated representatives who choose to attend at the address below.
10. Late tenders will be rejected.
