INVITATION TO TENDER

PROVISION FOR MEDICAL INSURANCE COVER FOR MEMBERS OF NYANDARUA COUNTY ASSEMBLY(MCAs)

REFERENCE NO: NCA/T/10/2024-2025

1. The Nyandarua County Assembly invites sealed tenders for the Provision of Medical Insurance Cover for
members of Nyandarua County Assembly (MCAs)for the period
2024-2025
2. Tendering will be conducted under open competitive tendering method and is open to all qualified and
interested Tenderers.
3. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender Documents during
office hours at the address given below.

during normal working hours on Monday to Friday between 8.00A.M to 5.00pm (local Time).
4. A complete set of tender documents may be obtained electronically free of charge from
www.nyandaruaassembly.go.ke or the PPIP portal, www.tenders.go.ke.
5. Tenderers who download the tender document must forward their particulars immediately to
procurement@nyandaruaassembly.go.ke to facilitate any further clarification or addendum/addenda.
6. Tenderers shall submit an original tender security (Bid bond) amounting to Kenya Shillings Two
Hundred Thousand (Kshs. 200,000.00) valid for thirty (30) days beyond the validity date of the tender (i.e.
180 days). The bid bond should be in form of :.
i A bank guarantee;
ii . A guarantee by an insurance company registered and licensed by the Insurance Regulatory Authority
listed by the Authority; or
iii A guarantee issued by a financial institution approved and licensed by the Central Bank of Kenya
N/B self-insurance guarantee shall not be allowed
7. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted.
8. Completed tenders must be delivered to the address below on or before 16th October 2024 at
11.00 A.M. Electronic complete Tenders must also be uploaded in the IFMIS Portal
Note: bidders must upload the bids on IFMIS platform and also submit the original hard copy of the bid
documents in the tender box.

Block Wing B adjacent to the Ol Kalou High Court.
tenders that do not fit in the tender box shall be deposited at the Procurement Office and recorded using the
register located at the Office.
9. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above. Tenders will be
publicly opened in the presence of the Tenderers’ designated representatives who choose to attend at the
address below.
10. Late tenders will be rejected.
