PROVISION OF ASSETS INSURANCE COVER 

TENDER NO. KFCB/02/2023-2024  
The Kenya Film Classification Board (KFCB) also referred to as Procuring Entity invites sealed tenders
from eligible candidates for the Provision of Assets Insurance Cover for KFCB Assets.
Tendering will be conducted under open competitive tendering method using a standardized tender
document and is open to all qualified and interested Tenderers.
The contract will be for a period of two (2) years subject to satisfactory performance.
Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender Documents during
office hours at the address given below:

during normal working hours on Monday to Friday between 0800hrs to 1700hrs (East Africa Time).
A complete set of tender documents may be purchased or obtained by paying KES 1,000, in cash or Banker’s
Cheque and payable using the details given below. Tender documents obtained electronically will be free of
charge.
Tender documents obtained from the KFCB website www.kfcb.go.ke/tenders or the PPIP portal,
www.tenders.go.ke shall be free of charge.
Tenderers who download the tender document must forward their particulars immediately to
kfcbprocurement@kfcb.go.ke to facilitate any further clarification or addendum/addenda.
All Tenders must be accompanied by an Original tender security (Bid bond) of Kenya Shillings Fifty
Thousand Only (Kshs 50,000); in form of a Bank guarantee from a bank licensed and operating in Kenya or a
registered insurance company, payable to the Chief Executive Officer, Kenya Film Classification Board and
valid for 150 days from the date of the tender opening. This shall be in the format provided in the tender
document. Self-insured tender securities are not allowed.
Prices quoted should be net inclusive of all taxes, must be in Kenya Shillings and the tender validity should be
120 days.
The Tenderer shall chronologically serialise all pages of the tender documents submitted.
Completed tender documents are to be enclosed in plain sealed envelopes, marked with the tender number and
be deposited in the tender box provided at The Kenya Film Classification Board’s Offices, 15th Floor,
Uchumi House, Aga Khan Walk Nairobi, and addressed to:

To be received on or before Wednesday, 25th October, 2023 at 11:00 AM.
Electronic Tenders will not be permitted.
Tenders that do not fit in the tender box shall be deposited at the Reception Desk and recorded using the register
located at the reception area.
Tenders will be opened immediately thereafter in the presence of the tenderers representatives who choose to
attend the opening at the Board Room, 14th floor, Uchumi House, Aga Khan Walk, Nairobi.

Late tenders will be rejected.
