INVITATION TO TENDER
PROVISION OF GROUP MEDICAL INSURANCE COVER FOR THE HISTAC, HEPI, PRO-ACT AND DAPPER PROJECT STAFF

TENDER NO: UON/FHS/THHD/ONT/01/2023-2024 
1. The University of Nairobi invites sealed tenders for the provision of
Group Medical Insurance Cover for the HISTAC, HEPI, PRO-ACT and
DAPPER Project Staff.
2. Tendering will be conducted under open competitive tendering method
using a standardized tender document and is open to all qualified and
interested Tenderers.
3. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and
inspect the Tender Documents during office hours i.e .0900 to 1700 hours
at the address given below. Tender documents may be viewed and/or
downloaded from the website www.procurement.uonbi.ac.ke or
http://tenders.go.ke Tender documents obtained electronically will be
free of charge. Tenderers who download the tender document must
forward their particulars immediately to
directorsupplychain@uonbi.ac.ke to facilitate any further clarification
or addendum.
4. A complete set of tender documents may be purchased or obtained by
interested tenders upon payment of a non- refundable fees of KES.
1,000.00 in cash or Banker’s Cheque and payable to Barclays Bank A/C
03-094-8245531 Queensway House Branch and obtain an official
receipt from Income Section Room G4.
5. All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Security of Kshs.
100,000.00 from a reputable bank registered by the Central Bank of
Kenya or insurance firm approved by the IRA valid for an additional 30
days beyond the Tender validity period.
6. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages and properly bind
the tender documents submitted.
7. Completed tenders must be delivered to the address below on or before
22nd May 2024 at 10:30am. Electronic Tenders will not be permitted.
8. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time
specified above or any deadline date and time specified later. Tenders
will be publicly opened in the presence of the Tenderers’ designated
representatives who choose to attend at the address below.
9. Late tenders will be rejected.
