INVITATION TO TENDER
PROVISION OF INPATIENT MEDICAL INSURANCE BROKERAGE SERVICES
AND OUTPATIENT MEDICAL FUND ADMINISTRATION SERVICES
Tender No: CMA/ONT 001 /2022-2023
The Capital Markets Authority invites sealed tenders for the Provision of Staff Inpatient Medical
Insurance Brokerage Services and Outpatient Medical Fund Administration Services. The cover
will be for a period of two years. Starting from 1
st October 2022 renewable subject to annual
satisfactory performance review.
Tendering will be conducted under Open National Tendering method using a standardized
tender document and is open to all qualified Insurance Brokerage Firms as stipulated in the
Evaluation Criteria.
Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender
Documents during office hours, Monday to Friday between 9:00am to 4:00pm inclusive except
for public holidays at the address given below;

A complete set of tender documents may be purchased by interested tenderer’s upon payment
of a non- refundable fees of (KSHs.1,000) in cash or Banker’s Cheque and payable to Capital
Markets Authority or downloaded free of charge from the Authority’s website; www.cma.or.ke
or https://tenders.go.ke
CMA will not be liable for failure of delivery of the Clarification/Addenda to the indicated
Contacts, therefore the tenderer’s are reminded to re-confirm their contacts before they are
emailed.
All Tenders must be accompanied by a tender security of KSHs.200,000.
Completed tenders must be delivered to the address below on or before Wednesday, 31st
August 2022 at 11:00am. Electronic Tenders Shall not be permitted.

Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any
deadline date and time specified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the
Tenderers’ designated representatives who choose to attend at the 4th floor Conference Room,
Embankment Plaza at the address below. Late tenders will be rejected.
Tenders shall be quoted be in Kenya Shillings and shall include all taxes. Tenders shall remain
valid for (120) days from the date of opening of tenders.
Tenders must be accompanied by Bid Security of KSHs.200,000, in form of a Bank Guarantee
from a reputable bank valid for 180 day from date of tender closing.
