TENDER NOTICE |
The Commission on Revenue Allocation (CRA) is an independent commission set up under Article 215 of the Constitution of Kenya. Its core mandate is to recommend the basis for equitable sharing of revenues raised nationally between the National and County Governments; sharing of revenue among the County Governments and make recommendations on other matters concerning the financing of and financial management by county governments.
The Commission on Revenue Allocation invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for Provision of Medical (in-patient and outpatient cover), Group Life and Group Personal Accident/WIBA Insurance Covers.
Interested eligible bidders may download a complete set of Tender Documents from the Commission’s website: www.cra.go.ke or from National Treasury’s supplier portal: www.supplier.treasury.go.ke /FREE OF CHARGE.
Bidders may also obtain a hard copy of the same from Procurement office at Commission offices Grosvenor Suite, 2nd floor upon payment of non-refundable fee of Kenya shillings One Thousand (Kshs.1, 000.00) during normal working hours. Prices quoted should be net inclusive of all taxes and delivery costs, must be in Kenya shillings and shall remain valid for a period of 120 days from the tender submission deadline. Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Security of Kenya shillings Three Hundred Thousand (KES 300,000) of the tender sum in form of a guarantee from a reputable bank or an insurance company approved by PPRA payable to the Commission on Revenue Allocation and must be valid for a period of 150 days after bid submission deadline.
Completed tender documents are to be enclosed in plain sealed envelopes clearly labelled “PROVISION OF MEDICAL (IN-PATIENT AND OUT PATIENT COVER), GROUP LIFE AND GROUP PERSONAL ACCIDENT /WIBA INSURANCE COVERS – CRA/PROC/OT/01/2021-2022 and be deposited in the Tender Box at the Commission on Revenue Allocation, 14 Riverside Drive Grosvenor Suite, 2nd Floor Reception Area or by post to the address below: –
