TOURISM FUND TENDER AUGUST 2022 

INVITATION TO TENDER 
PROVISION OF MEDICAL INSURANCE COVER TO TOURISM FUND STAFF 
TENDER NUMBER: TF/01/2022-2023. 

1. Tourism Fund invites sealed tenders for the Provision of Medical Insurance Cover for Board of
Trustees and Staff for a period of twelve months (12) renewable once upon Satisfactory
performance.
2. Tendering will be conducted through the Open National Tendering procedures specified in the Public
Procurement and Asset Disposal Act, 2015 and Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Regulations
2020, and is open to all qualified and interested Tenderers as defined in the Regulations.
3. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender
Documents during office hours from 8:30am to 4:00 pm at the address given below. Tender
documents may be viewed and/or downloaded from the Fund’s website, www.tourismfund.co.ke
or the Public Procurement Information Portal, www.tenders.go.ke
4. A complete set of tender documents may be downloaded from the Fund website,
www.tourismfund.co.ke or the Public Procurement Information Portal, www.tenders.go.ke free of
charge.
5. Tenderers who download the tender document must forward their particulars immediately to
procurement@tourismfund.co.ke , +254 2714900/1/2 and address below to facilitate any further
clarification or addendum.
6. All Tenders must be accompanied by a tender Security of Ksh. 1,250,000.00 valid for 217 days from
the date of tender opening, in form of a bank guarantee from a reputable bank recognized by the
Central Bank of Kenya payable to the Tourism Fund.
7. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted. Format 1,
2, 3, 4……n (where n is the last page number) including all attachments.
8. Completed tenders must be delivered to the address below on or before 17th August, 2022 at 12.00
noon East African Time.
9. Electronic Tenders SHALL NOT be permitted.
10. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any deadline
date and time specified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the Tenderers’
designated representatives who choose to attend at the address below.
