INVITATION TO TENDER FOR PROVISION OF MEDICAL INSURANCE COVER, GROUP LIFE COVER & GROUP PERSONAL ACCIDENT-WIBA COMPLIANT COVER & ALL RISK ASSET COVER

TENDER NO. WASREB/TND/01/2020-2021

The Water Services Regulatory Board (WASREB) invites sealed tenders from eligible candidates for the provision of Insurance Covers for an initial period of one year renewable annually up to a maximum of three years subject to Satisfactory Performance.

Interested eligible candidates may download the bid document from the Board’s website: www.wasreb.go.ke or www.supplier.treasury.go.ke. Free of Charge. Bidders who download the tender doc­ument must arrange to register the company name, postal, physical, email and telephone addresses for the purposes of receiving any further tender clarifications and/or addendums if need be.

Bidders may inspect and obtain a complete set of the tender document from Procurement Office, Water Services Regulatory Board, 5th Floor wing A of NHIF Building, during normal working hours upon payment of a non – refundable tender fee of Kshs.1,000.00 at WASREB’s accounts office on the 5th floor and obtain an official receipt.

Prices quoted should be net inclusive of all taxes, must be in Kenya Shillings and should remain valid for 120 days after date of tender opening.

A complete tender document to be enclosed in plain sealed envelope, marked with the tender number and be deposited in the Tender Box provided at The Water Service Regulatory Board Offices, 5th floor, Wing A of National Hospital Insurance Fund (NHIF) Building, Nairobi or be addressed and posted to:

To be received on or before Wednesday 21st October, 2020 at 12.00 noon.

Tenders must be accompanied by a tender Security of Kenya Shillings One Hundred Thousand (100,000) in form of a guarantee from a reputable bank payable to the Chief Executive Officer, Water Services Regulatory Board and must remain valid for a period of 120 days after the tender opening.

Tenders will be opened immediately thereafter in the presence of the tenderers representatives who choose to attend at the Boardroom on the 5th floor of NHIF building.

WASREB reserves the right to accept or reject any tender and may annul the tendering process and reject all tenders at any time prior to contract award without thereby incurring any liability to the affected tenderer or tenderers.
