PROVISION OF RECOGNITION OF PRIOR LEARNING (RPL) RELATED SERVICES
(CONSULTING SERVICES – FIRMS SELECTION)
TVET CDACC is a State Agency established under the TVET Act. No 29 of 2013 whose mandate is to undertake curriculum development, assessment and carry-out competence certification as a Qualifications Awarding Institution (QAI) in the TVET sub-sector.
In line with the above mandate and National RPL policy and implementation guidelines, the Council intends to roll out RPL services to enhance visibility of uncertified skills for employability and promote lifelong learning. To support this exercise, the Council seeks the services of a consulting firm to guide on a pilot phase, on the following RPL activities;
- a)Labour Market Information on Occupational profiles suitable for RPL assessment
- b)RPL awareness and publicity in collaboration with industry
- c)RPL candidates’ counselling services
- d)RPL practitioners’ induction and training
