INVITATION TO TENDER
TENDER FOR PROVISION OF SECURITY SERVICES FOR KIBABII UNIVERSITY FOR 2022 – 2024 FINANCIAL YEARS
(OPEN TO ALL)
The KIBABII UNIVERSITY invites sealed tenders for the provision of SECURITY SERVICES FOR THE
PERIOD OF TWO YEARS 2022/2024 FINANCIAL YEAR – MAIN CAMPUS” situated in Bungoma
County.
1. Tendering will be conducted under OPEN NATIONAL COMPETITIVE TENDER METHOD using
a standardized tender document. Tendering is open to all qualified and interested firms or a group of
persons under AGPO- PLWD Program by the National Treasury and duly registered with the National
Council for Persons Living with Disabilities
2. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender Documents
during office hours 9.00AM to 4.00PM daily Monday to Friday on the University website
www.kibu.ac.ke. More details on the Services are provided in PART 2 – Services’ Requirements,
Section V – Description of Services of the Tender Document.
3. A complete set of tender documents is downloadable for free from government portal
www.tenders.go.ke and Kibabii University website www.kibu.ac.ke
4. All Tenders must be accompanied by a fully filled, signed and stamped TENDER SECURING
FORM available under Section V-Tendering Forms in this document.
5. Completed Tender Documents consisting of one original HARD COPY and a duplicate of the same
shall be deposited in the Tender Box on the Ground Floor, at Administration Block, on or before the
closing date. Bulk documents shall be deposited at the Vice Chancellor Office in the 1st Floor
Administration Block
6. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents including all attachments
submitted as required under S.74(1) of the Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Act, 2015
9. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above. Tenders
immediately after closing time will be publicly opened in the presence of the Tenderers’ designated
representatives who choose to attend in Auditorium C,.
10. Late tenders will be rejected.
