EOI 009/2023: EXPRESSION OF INTEREST

PROVISION OF SELECT SUPPLY CHAIN SERVICES FOR WFP KENYA COUNTRY OFFICE

The United Nations World Food Programme (UNWFP] is the food-assistance agency of the United Nations and is the world’s largest humanitarian organization addressing hunger and promoting food security.

In order to complement its operations in Kenya, UNWFP seeks to engage companies with the pre-requisite capacity to provide select Supply Chain Services as indicated below:

  1. Primary Transport for Inland operations, [Movement of relief food and Non-Food Items from select destinations in Kenya to delivery points in Kenya].
  2. Primary Transport for overland operations, [Movement of relief food and Non-Food Items from select destinations in Kenya to delivery points outside Kenya].
  3. Pest Control Services in Kenya.
  4. Warehouse Management Services in Nairobi, Kenya, [Provision of warehouse labour AND Warehouse Management services for WFP Warehouse in Nairobi].
  5. Warehouse Labour in Mombasa, Kenya, (Provision of warehouse labour ONLY, for WFP Warehouse in Mombasa]
  6. Clearing and Forwarding Services at the Ports of Mombasa, Lamu and other designated land border points within the Republic of Kenya.

Companies registered to provide any of the above services in Kenya, are requested to indicate their interest by filling the online questionnaire for consideration and shortlisting.
