PROVISION OF STAFF MEDICAL INSURANCE SERVICES (UNDERWRITERS ONLY)
TENDER NO. NOCK/PRC/03(1664) 2021 – 2022
1.1 National Oil Corporation of Kenya (National Oil) invites sealed tenders from interested and eligible Underwriters registered with the Insurance Regulatory Authority to bid for Provision of Staff Medical Insurance Services on a framework contract of two terms/cover periods, each term/cover period having 12 months. A value for money assessment shall be undertaken at the end of each term to confirm whether the Bidder is providing satisfactory performance and whether the terms in the framework contract remain competitive. Renewal for the 2nd term/cover period will be subject to satisfactory performance in the first term and availability of an adequate budget to meet obligations in the 2nd term/cover period.

1.3 The complete tender document can downloaded from the National Oil website www.nationaloil.co.ke free of charge. Tenderers should immediately forward their particulars for records and/or for the purposes of receiving any further clarifications/addenda to tenders@nockenya.co.ke. All clarifications and/or amendments will be published on the National Oil website www.nationaloil.co.ke and tenderers are required to check for any addenda or amendments in the course of the bidding period prior to the closing date.
1.4 Prices quoted should be inclusive all costs applicable and shall be inclusive of any applicable taxes and levies. Prices shall remain valid for 150 days from the closing date of the tender. Upon contract award, the quoted medical insurance premiums shall remain valid for the duration of the contract period, i.e. 24 months save for increase/decrease in the number of insured staff.
1.5 Completed tender documents are to be enclosed in plain sealed envelopes marked with the tender reference number and name ”NOCK/PRC/03(1664)2021-2022, Tender For PROVISION OF STAFF MEDICAL INSURANCE SERVICES –FRAMEWORK CONTRACT shall be addressed to;

1.6 Bulky tenders that do not fit into the tender box should be registered and deposited at the reception located on Ground Floor, Kawi House Complex on or before 26th May 2022 1000hrs (East African Time).
1.7 Tenders will be opened immediately thereafter in the presence of the Candidates or their representatives who choose to attend at;
