PUBLIC PARTICIPATION ON THE LIVESTOCK REGULATIONS, 2023
The regulations are available at the websites of the Ministries of Agriculture and Livestock Development
(www.kilimo.go.ke) and Information, Communication and Technology (www.ict.go.ke).
The Cabinet Secretary for Agriculture and Livestock Development is therefore calling for views and proposals
from members of the general public and any concerned stakeholders, for consideration in finalization of the
draft livestock regulations. The Ministry has therefore organized open public for public consultations from
8th – 31st May 2023 in 5 regional meetings as per the below program. The stakeholder concerns and feedback
will be a valuable source of information that will be used to improve draft regulations, and help to identify and
control external risks in operationalization of the draft Livestock Bill 2023.

All views should reach the Cabinet Secretary not later than 25th May 2023.
