The Government of the Republic of Kenya has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Horn of Africa Gateway Development Project (HoAGDP) and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contracts for supply of assorted Goods for the Frontier Counties Development Council (FCDC).
The Kenya National Highways Authority, a State Corporation under the Ministry of Transport, Infrastructure, Housing, Urban Development and Public Works established under the Kenya Roads Act, 2007, now Requests for Quotations (RFQ) from eligible Companies/Suppliers for purchase and supply of assorted Goods for Frontier Counties Development Council (FCDC) as follows;

Bidding will be conducted through national competitive procurement using Request for Quotations (RFQ) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers-Procurement in Investment Projects Financing” “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers July 2016, revised November 2017 and August 2018 as update November 2020 (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
A complete set of Request for Quotations documents may be obtained by interested suppliers from the Kenya National Highways Authority website: www.kenha.co.ke or PPIP portal: www.tenders.go.ke free of charge. Bidders are encouraged to download RfQ documents to minimize physical visits to KeNHA Head Office.
Completed Quotations are to be enclosed in plain sealed envelope clearly marked with request for Quotation name, reference number, addressed to:-

Deposited in the Tender Box at the reception area, Supply Chain Management Department Office, Barabara Plaza, Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), Nairobi, Off Mazao Road (Opposite KCAA Headquarters), Block C, 2nd Floor so as to be received on or before Tuesday, 6th July, 2021 at 11.00 a.m.
Quotations will be opened immediately thereafter in the presence of Tenderers/Representatives who wish to attend at the KeNHA, Supply Chain Management Department Board Room, Block C, 2nd Floor.
