REHABILITATION OF NGOSINI CONCRETE WATER PAN 2023 – NARIGP

GOVERNMENT OF MAKUENI COUNTY TENDER AUGUST 2023 

THE NATIONAL AGRICULTURAL AND RURAL INCLUSIVE GROWTH PROJECT [NARIGP]

INTRODUCTION

The National Agricultural and Rural Inclusive Growth Project (NARIGP] is a Government of Kenya initiative funded by World Bank/ International Development Association [I DA]. The project development objective [PDO] is “to increase agricultural productivity and profitability of targeted rural communities in selected Counties.” As one of the implementing Counties, the Government of Makueni County hereby invites interested and eligible bidders for works described hereafter.

The following are the mandatory requirements to be submitted together with the bids:

1. A copy of Business Registration/ incorporation certificate
2. A Copy of valid tax compliance certificate from KRA
3. A dully filled bill of quantities in the format provided
4. A dully filled confidential business questionnaire form in the format provided
5. A duly filled form offender in the format provided and signed by the authorized person
6. Proof of ownership, Lease or rented office premises as at the time of bidding
7. A valid single business permit issued by a County Government in Kenya
8. A proof of attendance to pretender site visit
9. Notarized power of attorney proof authorizing signatory of the tender to commit the tenderer
10. Must submit a copy of valid registration by National Construction Authority as a dam contractor [NCA 6 for water works]
11. A tender security of Kshs. 400,000 from a recognized financial institution in Kenya valid for 150 days
12. A copy of KRA pin certificate

Interested firms may obtain bid documents at the NARIGP offices Makueni and/or download them from www.makueni.go.ke The duly completed bids should be enclosed in plain sealed envelopes clearly marked with Tender Number and Tender Name and deposited in the tender box situated at Makueni NARIGP offices [MAP] at the county headquarters and be addressed to:

So as to be received on or before Thursday 24^th  August, 2023 at 10.00 a.m.

Opening of the bids will take place immediately thereafter at Makueni County NARIGP offices [MAP] in the presence of firms’ representatives who choose to attend. A mandatory pre- tender site visit to be done on Thursday 10th August 2023 at 10.00a.rn from West Ngosini market to Ngosini water pan site in Kikumini Muvau Ward Makueni sub county.
