RENEWAL OF SUSE ENTERPRISE LINUX SUBSCRIPTION FOR SAP APPLICATIONS FOR A PERIOD OF ONE (1) YEAR 2024 – KRA

Tender Notice
The Kenya Revenue Authority invites sealed bids from eligible candidates for the following tenders:

a) Interested eligible candidates may obtain further information and inspect the tender documents
with detailed requirements at the office of the:

b) A complete set of bidding documents in English may be obtained from KRA E-Procurement
portal available on the KRA website www.kra.go.ke free of charge. Prospective bidders should
register for E-Procurement to enable them access the KRA portal under “New Supplier
Registration” found under the Tender Tab.
c) Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender
Documents during office hours 8:00am-5:00pm. Completed Bids are to be saved as PDF
documents marked “KRA/HQS/NCB-005/2024-2025: Renewal of Suse Enterprise
Linux Subscription for SAP Applications for a Period of One (1) Year” and submitted
to the appropriate KRA E-procurement Web Portal found on the KRA website so as to be received
on or before 19th September, 2024 at 11.00 a.m.
d) Tendering will be conducted under National Open Competitive method using a standardized
tender document. Tendering isopento allqualifiedand interestedTenderers
e) Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender
Documents during office hours i.e.0800 to 1700 hours.
f) Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded from the website www.kra.go.ke
free of charge. Tenderers who download the tender document must forward their
particulars immediately to eprocurement@kra.go.ke, telephone +254 02 2817022 and
P.O. BOX 48240 – 00100 to facilitate any further clarification or addendum.
g) The tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted.
h) Submission should strictly be done via the KRA E-Procurement Portal.

i) Bids will be opened electronically promptly after closing time and Bidders or their
representatives are welcome to witness the opening at Times Tower Building.
j) Tenders shall be quoted in Kenya Shillings and shall include all taxes. Tenders shall remain valid
for 335 days from the date of opening of tenders.
k) An original hard copy or a digital tender security Must be submitted on or before the
tender closing time.
A hard copy of the bid security MUST be dropped in the Tender Security Box located at
Ground Floor, Times Tower Building, and should be in a sealed envelope bearing the Tender
Number and Description and addressed to the address indicated above.
Alternatively, bidders may submit a digital security which MUST be verifiable through a
secure portal or QR code directly linked to the issuer of the bid security. Digital securities
must be scanned and submitted in the NOTES and ATTACHMENTS folder in the SAP
Portal.
l) Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any dead
line date and time specified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the
Tenderers’ designated representatives who choose to attend at the address above.
m)Late tenders will be rejected
Any canvassing or giving of false information will lead to automatic disqualification.
