REQUEST FOR BIDS FOR BOREHOLE DRILLING SERVICES

MOUNTAINVIEW RESIDENTS ASSOCIATION (MVERA) TENDER NOVEMBER 2024 

Mountain View Residents Association, registered under the Societies Act of Kenya, is dedicated to ensuring the provision and maintenance of essential services such as security, roads, and a clean environment for residents. The association also strives to maintain a steady and sufficient supply of electricity and water. However, the estate has been facing increasing water shortages, and to address this issue, MVERA plans to drill a borehole.

As a first step, MVERA invites bids from qualified and experienced consultants/ companies for the following works:

1. Conduct a hydrogeological/geophysical survey at a minimum of two sites within the estate.
2. Secure approval for water abstraction from the Water Resources Authority (WRA).
3. Conduct an Environmental Impact Assessment [EIA1 for adoption and licensing by the National Environment Management Authority [NEMA].
4. Advise the Executive Committee on the borehole prospects and supervise the drilling process and any allied works.

Note: A certificate of attendance will be issued.
