REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL – Tana Water Works Development Agency

TANA WATER WORKS DEVELOPMENT AGENCY TENDER 2020 

1. Tana Water Works Development Agency [TWWDA], is a State Corporation in the Ministry of Water, Sanitation and Irrigation with the core mandate of development of national public water and sanitation services works in its area of jurisdiction.
2. TWWDA invites applications from interested and competent firms possessing the requisite skills, resources and experience for the under listed services as per specifications and Terms of Reference detailed in the Tender and Request for Proposal Documents.

1. Eligible candidates may obtain hard copies of the tender [and IFP] documents from TWWDA’s Procurement Office during normal working hours {Monday to Thursday [8a.m. to 5p.m.], and Friday [8a.m.to 4p.m.]} upon payment of a Non Refundable fee of Kshs.1000 cash or Bankers Cheque,
2. Soft copies of a complete set of the documents containing all the requirements may be forwarded to any interested candidate/s’ official email inbox free of charge upon formal request in writing.
3. The documents can also be downloaded from the TWWDA website www.tanawwda.or.ke or from the Public Procurement information portal (PPIP): www.tenders.go.ke free of charge. Those who download the documents and intend to submit them are required to submit their official business contacts to Tana Water Works Development Agency for purposes of receiving further clarifications/or addendums if need arises.
4. There will be MANDATORY Pre-tender site visits and meetings as described in each of the tender documents [Tender Data Sheet].
5. Firms under the category of DISADVANTAGED GROUPS [Youth, Women and PWDs] are also encouraged to bid for any of the tenders/RFP for which they are qualified in which case a duly filled tender security declaration shall be required in place of the tender security bond [for the tenders’ applicants].
6. Applications for tenders must be submitted enclosed in plain, sealed envelopes marked with the tender name and reference number and deposited in the tender box located on the ground floor, Tana Water Works Development Agency, P. 0. Box 1292 -10100 Nyeri, Maji House, Baden Powel Road, addressed to the Chief Executive Officer, so as to be received on or before Wednesday, 30th September, 2020 at 10.00 a.m. Similarly, RFP applications should be submitted strictly as per the description on the RFP documents.
7. The Bids will be opened immediately thereafter in the presence of candidates or representatives who wish to witness the opening at the TWWDA resource Centre.
8. Any bid/s received after the deadline will be rejected.
