INVITATION TO TENDER
SALE OF BOARDED MOTOR VEHICLES AND UNSERVICEABLE STORES
1. The National Council for Population and Development (NCPD) now invites sealed tenders from eligible
candidates to purchase of boarded motor vehicles and unserviceable stores
2. Interested eligible candidates may obtain further information at the address provided below. Items
will be sold as they are, without any encumbrances.
3. Interested tenderers may inspect the goods to be sold during office hours [insert office hours if
applicable i.e. 0900 to 1500 hours] at the address given below.
4. A complete set of tender documents may be obtained electronically free of charge from the
Websites (www.ncpd.go.ke and www.ppip.go.ke ) Alternatively, may be obtained from
procurement office room no.440, 4th floor, the chancery, along valley road Nairobi upon payment
of non-refundable fees of Kshs.1,000 payable to Pay bill Number: 222 222, Account No:
PZDZWZE.
5. Tenderers who download the tender document must forward their particulars immediately to
ncpdprocurement@ncpd.go.ke to facilitate any further clarification or addendum.
6. Tenderers will be required to pay in advance a refundable deposit as indicated in Section Ii – Schedule of
items and prices to Pay bill Number: 222 222, Account No: PZDZWZE.
7. Applicants who pay the refundable deposit must provide their bank details (as indicated in the Invitation
to Tender ) to enable refunds at the end of the exercise.
8. Completed tenders must be delivered to the address below on or before 10.00 am Friday 17th
January, 2025. Electronic Tenders will not be permitted.
9. Prices quoted should be net, must be in Kenya Shillings and shall remain valid for 140 days from
the closing date of the tender.
10. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any deadline
date and time specified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the Tenderers’
designated representatives who choose to attend at the address below.
11. Late tenders will be rejected.
