Supply And Delivery Of Electronic News Gathering Equipment – Ministry of Education

MINISTRY OF EDUCATION TENDER 2021 

1. The Government of Kenya has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Kenya Covid 19 Education Response Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Purchase of Electronic news gathering (ENG) and Electronic Field Production (EFP) Equipment). For this contract, the Government of Kenya shall process the payments using the Direct Payment disbursement method, as defined in the World Bank’s Disbursement Guidelines for Investment Project Financing, except for those payments, which the contract provides to be made through letter of credit.
2. The Ministry of Education now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for Supply and Delivery of Electronic news gathering (ENG) and Electronic Field Production (EFP) Equipment), Request for Bids reference No MOE/GPE/GDS/04/2020-2021. This is a one lot contract whose delivery Period is shown in the bid document.
3. Bidding will be conducted through National competitive procurement procedure using Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” dated 2016, revised August 2018 and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
4. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from the address below and are free to inspect the bidding document during office hours 0900 to 1600 hours at the address given below. There will be a site meeting on a date to be shown in the bid document for interested bidders to inspect the site. Any clarification resulting from the site meeting and this tender will be uploaded in the Ministry website www.education.go.ke.
5. The bidding document in English language may be purchased by interested bidders from Project Procure­ment Office 1st Floor room 110 upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Kenya Shillings one thousand (Kshs.1,000). The method of payment will be Cash, payable to Ministry cash office 7^th Floor room 730.
6. Bids clearly printed/marked with Bid reference number must be delivered to the address below on or before 19^th February 2021. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below on 19t^h February 2021 at 11.00 AM EAT.
7. All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid security of 2% from a Bank, of the total Bid value in the format specified in the tender document.
