Supply and Delivery of White maize – Turkana County Government

COUNTY GOVERNMENT OF TURKANA TENDER 2021 

Turkana County Government invites sealed bids from interested eligible bidders for the following Tenders.

Complete tender documents must be submitted through the IFMIS SUPPLIER PORTAL: supplier.treasury.go.ke as per the requirements contained in the document so as to be received on or before the date and time indicated in the IFMIS.

All document must be paginated in the format (1, 2, 3,4….).

Bidders must upload copy of original bid security to the IFMIS Portal and deliver the ORIGINAL to the office of the Director Supply Chain Management Services, Procurement Department, Office of the Governor- Lodwar. Prices quoted must remain valid for one hundred and twenty (120) days from the opening date. The bid security must be valid for one hundred and fifty (150) days from the opening date.

NOTE: Bidders who may experience challenges in accessing or uploading tender documents in the IFMIS TENDER PORTAL should contact the IFMIS helpdesk Tel (0800721477) at the National Treasury or contact supply chain management services office situated at the County Headquarter next to the Treasury building.

The system will automatically LOCK OUT at the time and date of the tender closing as indicated on the IFMIS PORTAL.

MANUAL SUBMISSIONS will not be accepted. All tenders must be submitted through the IFMIS platform.

Interested eligible candidates may obtain further information from the office of the Director Supply Chain Management Services, Procurement Department, Office of the Governor- Lodwar and inspect the tender documents during normal working hours (08.00am-05.00pm) or via email on: supplychainoffice@turkana.go.ke

The tender documents, containing detailed information on the tenders can freely be downloaded from the county government website: www.turkana.go.ke or PPIP Portal: www.tenders.go.ke. Bidders who have downloaded the document from the website must forward their particulars immediately for recording and further clarification and addenda to supplychainoffice@turkana.go.ke

Tender bids in plain sealed envelopes marked on the right-hand side corner “Tender

No…………” and bearing no indication of the Tenderer should be submitted manually in hard

copies and addressed to:-

Placed in the tender Box located at the Next to Governor’s Office or sent by post so as to reach the above address not later than at 10.00 am on 12.03.2021.

All tenders must be accompanied with a bid Security as specified or Tender declaration form for special groups. Submitted documents will be opened publically soon after the above stated closing date and time in presence of the tenderers or their representative who choose to attend. Prices quoted must remain valid for one hundred and twenty (120) days from the opening date. The bid security must be valid for one hundred and fifty (150) days from the opening date.
