SUPPLY AND DELIVERYOF AGRICULTUREHAND TOOLS BASUBA WARD
The LAMU COUNTY GOVERNMENT invites sealed tenders for the SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF AGRICULTURE
HAND TOOLS BASUBA WARD.
1. Tendering will be conducted under open competitive method using a standardized tender document. Tendering
is open to all qualified and interested Tenderers.
2. “Tendering is open to all Small and Medium Enterprises registered appropriately with……OPEN………………
3. In case tender is subject to Multiple contracts/lots, insert “Tenderers will be allowed to tender for
one or more lots”. N/A
4. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender Documents during
office hours between 8.00am and 5.00pm from the office of the Head of Supply Chain Management, Lamu
Treasury.
5. A complete set of tender documents may be purchased or obtained by interested tenders upon payment of
a non- refundable fees of (Amount in Kenya shillings) N/A in cash or Banker’s Cheque and payable to the
address given below. Tender documents may be obtained electronically from the Website www.lamu.go.ke.
Tender documents obtained electronically will be free of charge.
6. Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded for free from the website www.tenders.go.ke or
www.lamu.go.ke
7. Tenders shall be quoted be in Kenya Shillings and shall include all taxes and 0.03% Public Procurement Capacity
Building Levy Order 2023 (exclusive all applicable taxes). Tenders shall remain valid for 120 days from the
date of opening of tenders.
8. Tenders must be accompanied by a bid security of kshs 100,000.00 (One Hundred Thousands Shillings Only)
valid for 150 days from a reputable bank, financial institutions, or insurance firm approved by PPRA.
9. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted.
10. Completed tenders must be delivered to the address below on or before 16TH January, 2025 AT 11.00 AM .
11. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any dead
line date and time specified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the Tenderers’ designated
representatives who choose to attend at the address below.
12. Late tenders will be rejected.
