INVITATION FOR BIDS

  1. This invitation For Bids [IFB] follows the General Procurement Notice [GPNjforthe Kenya Rural Transformation Centers Digital Platform [KRTCDP] Project that appeared on the African Development Bank’s Website (www.afdb.org ) and on The Co-operative University of Kenya Website (www.cuk.ac.ke)  in April 2021.
  2. The Co-operative University of Kenya has received financing from the African Development Bank’s Fund for African Private Sector Assistance [FAPAJ towards the cost of the KRTCDP Project. It is intended that part of the proceeds of this financing will be applied to eligible payments under the contract for Supply, Delivery & Configuration of Server and Associated Equipment.
  3. The Co-operative University of Kenya now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the Supply, Delivery & Configuration of Server and Associated Equipment [hereinafter called “the Goods”]. National Competitive Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Bank’s Rules and Procedures for Procurement of Goods and Works.
  4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from bidding documents accessed through the following link: https://www.cuk.ac.ke/krtcdp-procurement-of-servers.
  5. The provisions in the Instructions to Bidders and in the General Conditions are those of the Bank’s Standard Bidding Document for Procurement of Goods.
  6. Bids must be delivered in the tender box located at:

[Bid documents that cannot fit in the tender box should be delivered and registered at the Vice Chancellor’s Office located in Administration Block B).

  1. Complete bid documents bearing the IFB Number must be delivered on or before on 21st  July 2023 at 11:00 AM
  2. Bids shall remain valid for 120days after the deadline for bid submission prescribed above.
  3. Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders’ representatives who choose to attend on 21st July 2023 from 11:00 AM at the Vice Chancellor’s Boardroom.
